Blue Dragon Player App Install

Blue Dragon gives players four ways in. Knowing each one lets you help anyone, whatever device they own.

Send the right link

Players should only use the link you send them. Copies of game apps circulate online, and a wrong download is the most common cause of sign-in trouble.

Android

Players download the app from your link and may need to allow installs from that source once. Remind them to turn the permission back off afterwards.

iPhone

iPhone players follow the iOS install steps from your link. If something will not open, trying the browser version is a quick fallback.

Browser

The browser version needs no install at all, which suits older phones and players who are short on storage. A shortcut on the home screen gives the Blue Dragon browser lobby an app-like icon.

Windows desktop app

Players at a computer can use the Windows app. It suits people who prefer a larger screen and a mouse.

First sign-in

Create the username in your panel, send it privately with a temporary password and stay in chat until the lobby loads. Ask them to change the password.

Common fixes

Full storage, an outdated version or a chat app’s built-in browser cause most problems. Clearing space, updating and opening the link in a normal browser usually solve them.

Keeping players updated

When a new version arrives, post the current link in your group and ask players to update. Old versions can stop working without warning, and a quick reminder saves a wave of messages later.

Saving a step for regulars

Keep one pinned message with all four ways in, iPhone, Android, browser and PC, so returning players can reinstall on a new device without waiting for you.
