$25 Bet Wins $1.15 Million at Pechanga

Southern California has another slot millionaire. And it came from the smallest bet the machine allowed.
Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula says a San Diego County woman won a $1,153,944.82 progressive jackpot on October 1, 2026. Patch reported the news on October 5, citing the casino’s release.
She was playing Dragon Link Happy and Prosperous, a slot by Aristocrat Gaming. Her bet was $25, the minimum on that machine.
The big moment came in the bonus round. Gold coin symbols kept landing until the whole screen was covered. That full screen meant she had won the progressive jackpot.
A casino spokesperson said the winner chose to keep her plans private. Her name was not released.
This is not a one-off at Pechanga. According to the casino, it is the sixth jackpot of $1 million or more on Dragon Link there in 18 months.
The list is long. A Riverside County winner hit seven figures on April 21, 2026. Eleven days earlier, on April 10, a San Bernardino County guest collected $1,010,344.48. In March 2026, another guest won $1,339,477.30.
Two more came in 2025. A Temecula winner took home $1,044,559.11 in May 2025. On March 13, 2025, a guest on the same machine won $1,232,300.19.
Dragon Link has been the hot game of the fall. Big Dragon Link wins have also been reported this month at Aria in Las Vegas and Mohegan Sun in Connecticut.
